Introduction to the AGE of IMPERIALISM.

Read Chapter 18, pages 548-573.  Complete the Chapter 18 Imperialism Reading Guide or take the quiz.  The quiz is due by Tuesday, February 4, midnight.

Friday, January 31

Watch the "Presidents"  William McKinley Through Wilson.  There is a note sheet for this video. It covers the Progressive Era and Imperialism.

Welcome to Second Semester!

Wednesday, January 22

Intro to second semester.  Discussion of policy changes and introduction of online tools.  We will be going to the computer lab to log in and complete a few activities.  You will complete a Semester 1 Reflection on the QuizStar site. Then you will log on to the Chat Room and finally, complete a short webquest.

1. Semester 1 Reflection.  Answer the questions on the reflection and then hit "submit"
2. Chat Room.  Type your user name in the box below the chat then hit "Profile."  You will then need to enter your password (which is your ID number). Once logged in, post a message in the chatroom.
3. Intro to the Progressive Age Webquest. This webquest you will be doing online.  You must be logged into your student account in order to answer the questions.  When you are done, hit "submit."  If you don't finish this, it is homework.
