DBQ Example

Below you will find an example of a full essay DBQ.  It is 5 paragraphs long and follows the basic structure of a 5 paragraph essay:

Paragraph 1:  Introduction with the thesis as the last sentence.  The thesis identifies THREE arguments that will be addressed in the paper.
Paragraph 2:  This is a Mel-Con that explains the FIRST argument from the thesis and uses documents as evidence.
Paragraph 3:  This is a Mel-Con that explains the SECOND argument from the thesis and uses documents as evidence.
Paragraph 4:  This is a Mel-Con that explains the THIRD argument from the thesis and uses documents as evidence.
Paragraph 5:  This is the conclusion, that restates the questions and summarizes your thesis.
